We have a small growing herd of Jersey dairy cows. Jerseys produce a rich delicious milk with a high genetic tendency to carry the A2A2 gene making their milk not only delicious but also very easy to digest. Our beautiful Jerseys are on pasture all year round and supplemented with hay during the winter months. They receive a small amount of organic grain while being milked twice daily as well as having access to important nutrients and minerals free-choice. Join our Herdshare program to enjoy fresh milk from our herd.

In the state of Ohio, real (raw) milk can be obtained with a Herdshare since you are only permitted to drink raw milk from a cow that you own or lease. People wishing to buy real (raw) milk must first buy into the farmer's herd and sign a contract. Once someone has bought or leased into the herd, they pay the weekly maintenance fees for their cow, and in exchange, they receive a portion of "their" cow's product. Basically, buying a herdshare is like buying a cow and hiring someone else to milk her so you don't have to.

We must have completed Herdshare paperwork on file which can be found at the following two links.  Both documents must be signed and completed.  You, as the purchaser, are the buyer on the Bill of Sale and the Owner on the Agistment Agreement.

Our one-time herdshare buy-in is $50 per share or $25 per half-share (if paying for it online, there is a $3 website processing fee added to cover fees). After that, we charge a per share per month maintenance fee for care of the cow. Current per month maintenance fee is $40 per share (which is 1 gallon) or $25 per half-share (which is 1/2 gallon) (if paying for it online, maintenance fees are paid for by the month and there is a $3 website processing fee added per month to cover fees).
